Hi at all,

iīm new here, [from germany, so please donīt be too critical with my english], and already have a question^^
or better, 2 questions.
Last week I found out, that it is possible to install OSX on AMD systems, so i got a OSX AMD version but iīm not able to install
it... i have 2 versions, one always restarts immediately after the darwin prompt, [just at the beginning] and the other one always
makes an error: -->Debugger Called: Panic..Double Panic and so on, but i can se an Apple^^
Has anybody an idea, whats wrong with my system??
[AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+, ASUS Crosshair, 7900GT, 4gig Ram]
Second question is, can i get the zerophyte osx somewhere??

Thanks for your help!!!

Simon

sata is a problem at install, raid maybe even more.
i successfuly installed on an external usb hdd, fixed drivers and moved the
install later to internal hdd (but not sata, though).

Did you try with flags, like
-x (Safe Mode)
-f (Fore Mode)
-v (Diagnostic Messages)
cpus=1 (sometimes works - no idea what it is ;-) )

Try it.

Naw, it's EASY! Just build a custom installation DVD with the right .kext files to support your Southbridge Chipset!

That would be SO much easier!

hi,
yeah, I already tried tose flags, but they didnīt cause anything...it just wonīt work..

@cgsheen
yeah, but how do I do this? Iīm not really a noob with those things, but thats kinda hard for me..
i think...i already read a thread about building my own installation DVD..but therefore I needed
2 images..one of tiger and one of leopard...and I just didnīt understand what they wanted from me..
sorry...

thx!

It definately doesn't work on EVERY AMD machine... But, some of us get lucky.
