Clicky (http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=87589)

This guide isn't finished, but hopefully should help some of you get your amd motherboard runnig as the Zephyroth Rev. 1 DVD is a pain in the ass.

It also includes instructions on how to dual boot your system with Leopard.

Enjoy!

Well done!

Only a advice, edit with texedit /system/library/coreservices/systemversion.plist and delete the string "by OSX86.Türk team" or you will have problems with many apps like for example toast, candybar .... :)

Hi, LohnenNicht, I followed your guide, but whenever I try to use PPFMaster and try to patch the iATKOS_v1.0i.iso with iATKOS_v1.0i_AMD_Test.ppf, I get an error some 10 seconds after hitting the "Apply" button: "Apple Script Error: Out of memory. (-108)". I'm trying to do this on Tiger 10.4.10. Has anyone any idea what this means?

Then there must be something more to it... Maybe he tried to do this on a different platform, I believe he mentioned he was using Linux in his guide... Could that be it?

the iATKOS_v1.0i.iso is 2.44gb (2,621,407,232 bytes). Make sure you have the right one.

That's exactly the one I have, to the last byte. My question is, what OS were you using when you patched the iso? If Linux, it might be that the PPFMaster is to blame here...

I think that there´s a windows version of ppf-o-matic

I know, I googled it, the problem is I have to reinstall windows, it's not working at the moment. Thanks, anyway.

Hi. I managed to patch the iso using PPF-O-Matic 3.0 under Tiger 10.4.10. It was quite tricky because the program would quit every time I tried to browse for the .ppf file. The solution was to right click the .ppf file --> open with --> PPF-O-Matic. Then, simply browse for the iso to patch and click apply. As for the link, I don't remember where I downloaded it from, I'll try to find it again and post the link.
P.S.: try here: http://www.megagames.com/console/cgi-bin/dl.cgi?id=console&file=pdx-pmc3!zip

Yes:

However, the installation didn't go well for me and resulted in an unbootable OS... I'll wait for Zephyroth 10.5.2 Rev.1 for the time being.

Sorry, my mistake, I realize you were talking about some other error. Can't offer any insight on that either.

ok, try to buirn the ISO without the PFFPATCH applied. If it works, then don't bother with the PPFPATCH. Just boot from that. However, you will still need to patch everything else.

if the above doesn't work for you, try restoring the patched iATKOS iso to a partiion on your hard drive. I used an external hard drive to install iATKOS on my system. It should work then.
