now after some of us have used it for some time what do you think?
(objective statements please if possible :p)

as for me i don't see why i should change until enough apps support grandcentral and/or opencl.

wow not a single one?

well seems like 10.6 didn't leave much of an impression

Well, Snow Leopard added support for my wireless (Atheros AR9280), and seemingly native support for my Realtek R8169 ethernet so I will be using it from where it is now in alpha on into the future.

That said, I am a bit biased towards using it in the future. Cheers. lol

Snow Leopard is considerably faster with regards to rendering web pages in Safari. With the amount of browsing I do I'd like to make it my primary system, how-ever there are still some random stability issues you may encounter with it.

It's close to prime time but not quite there yet.

you might compare that to a current webkit build on 10.5.x.
it might not be because of 10.6 ...

Where could I get a copy of that build? Is it publicly available?

Awesome, thanks you so much! I am going to try this out on my 10.5.7 install and let you know the difference. :)

Just FYI my main reason for using Snow Leopard is so I can have a viable alternative to Entourage for connecting to my Exchange environment. (Although when the WebDav version of Entourage is released this fall it should provide a far better experience on most fronts).

btw what i would really like to see as a new feature is the ability to at least read multisession dvds.
i wanted that in 10.5 already but ... nope.
