It's the first time i'm trying to install macos x on my desktop. I have an Asus M2N-MX SE mobo with Athlon 64 x2 processor and samsung SATA I disk. I've downloaded 10.5.1 iso, and i got a problem, it see my disk correctly, but when i try to erase, or do something with the disk using diskutil for example, it cannot do the job, dying after a timeout, and on dmesg i got "IOATAControl: device blocking bus"

Is there a way to install it on my hardware? Can someone point me to correct docs or correct iso to download?

Thanks in advance

have a look at insanelymac.com there are threads solving this issue. basically what you need is to inject different drivers to the installation dvd...

Do you need if new Zephyroth Leopard 10.5.2 AMD will have this hardware support?
