I have a Twin-SAT digital harddisk recorder Finepass FSR-5000 TDR plus, it has an USB 1.1 connector. The device is recognied in System Profiler, but the Mac doesn't know what do do with it. It has a standard ATA harddisk inbuild, so it should be mounted as an USB harddisk.
It is possible to patch the driver for USB HDs so that the device could be detected? I didn't found an appropriate kext for USB harddisks. The Device ID is 0x0222 and the Vendor ID 0x0471.
