If you're talking about the EMU10K chip (Soundblaster Live! 5.1), i think this could help, xmaniak100; worked like a charm for my SB (supports various Soundblaster models):

Could someone make a video tutorial for those of us who are not intelligent and have problems reading but can see how to get lion working properly visual wise?

I am trying to do the method iATKOS L2, ShowAllFiles with Hackintosh Snow Leopard on Amd. How do I ShowAllFiles? Can anyone with a half-decent camera do a video tutorial. Thanks... I think I mess it up when I install the bootloader but now I forget how to even ShowAllFiles. I don't know this all seems very complicating and I know if someone did a video on it, it would make it much more easier for simple minded fools such as myself.

Godofwar, open a terminal window (terminal is an app, search in the spotlight bar or at the Aplications folder, inside the subfolder Utilities.

Then, type at the terminal:

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE

Pay attention! Type exactly as i wrote, since it's case sensitive. Then, <enter> and you tipe the following:

killall Finder

Then you hit <enter> again, and voilą: a lot of hidden files will suddenly show up!

Alright, now I'm going to need all the exact files I need to get Amd Phenon IIx4 965 3.4ghz to work. Also, does partitioning the same Snow Leopard Harddrive I have to put lion on the other Partition work or will that cause problems?

That command doesn't work for me in the Terminal. Never mind got it to work by killing the finder...

Do I have to update Chameleon or can I use the current Chameleon rc5 I'm using with Snow Leopard?

Alright it failed again(for the millionth time) and messed up Snow Leopard side while I tried to make Lion. I give up on this overrated operating system.

If you're doing well with SL (system which most Apple customers consider the pinnacle of OSX), and need a system to do serious work with it for a living, why upgrade, since you'd be limited to a possibly unstable 32-bit system (the 32-bit part is not a possibility, but a certainty)? The question is specially valid if you have Xcode coding in mind, since it simply won't work on your system.

Otherwise, if you think about it as a kind of enjoyable science experiment, or if a 32-bit system suit well your demands and you're willing to investing a lot of time fine-tuning your machine, or both (my case), then you should keep on trying.

Snow Leopard is not compatible with GTX 570. Thank apple for never releasing drivers for this operating system, and for some reason no one is smart enough to make hacked drivers to make gtx 570/500 series work with snow leopard. I really don't get why the same drivers for the 400 series on apple do not work with the 500 series. It makes 0 sense to me. I know on windows, 8000 series, 200 series, 400 series, 500 series, all use the same drivers for Nvidia. The resolution is ugly on my 1920 x 1200 resolution when its force to 1024x resolution. Also, I keep getting a beachball loading on Snow Leopard and I have no idea why, it randomly does it at times.

Godofwar, try these tutorials for Lion:

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/ind...owtopic=278181 (I got it to work using this one)

http://www.hack-my-mac.fr/index.php/...fx-buldo#28896 (this is very good also)

Back up your Snow Leo before trying any of them. Report back, we're all helped when we know that something really works and how (by the way, hey, xmaniak!, did the drivers work?).
