This screenshot looks pretty authentic - not look like trolling.

Hey dude! Great work. Bad thing is that a lot of apps on Lion are no more 32-Bit supported, including Finder - like it can be seen on your screenshot. If some function could be added, that does like -force64 in prior Legacy/Voodoo Kernel, you would have made it. Otherwise: There is the possibility to use 32-Bit Finder from Dev-Build 11A380 on GM / 11A511 This way I have working 10.7.0 on non-64-Bit CPU Atom N270 - any later Build does no longer work with this method. If we could get a fully working 32-Bit Lion on AMD via this way, this would not be as great, but still pretty cool... Anyhow: We are looking forward to you keeping us posted!! |

Patching these on Snow Leopard is for 32-Bit Apps not to crash, when 64-Bit is enabled.
Problem is that his Kernel has not enabled 64-Bit mode at all (it is booting pure 32-Bit legacy mode) In Lion there is no more 32-Bit code in a lot of Apps like Finder, Launchpad etc Absolutely no way to make them work unless 64-Bit support is enabled, like when you were using -force64 flag at Snow Leopard Kernel Patch. |
