Make sure you repair your system files and verify permissions, as custom kexts can make or break the installation if you don't.

just reinstalled Lion again so heres my quick tut on what i did:

1. boot into Snow Leopard and with disk utilities select hard drive to install Lion select to partition as master boot record

2. run iATKOS L2 installer package and point at new Lion partition, install.

3. reboot into windows or Snow Leopard and replace mach_kernel (i used mach_kernel_v4_bronzovka) and add to \Extra an \Extensions folder and drop the AppleNForceATA.imk64bit.kext into it...also i replaced the Finder.app with the DP2 Finder.app

4. installed chameleon with lizard to Lion but updated it with champlist after reboot and booted with these flags

-v -f -legacy arch=i386 npci=0x3000

5. at this point Lion fully loads. from here i fixed my wifi by editing IO80211Family.kext\Contents\PlugIns\AirPortAtheros 21.kext\Contents\Info.plist and changing <key>IONameMatch</key> to only <string>pci168c,13</string>

6. i have AC97 audio(i know how fukin old) fixed with AC97Audio.pkg

7. fixed graphics with nvidia mac installer package

8. enjoy a kinda working Lion havent got a kernel panic yet but the os locks up a lot(i see pinwheels)

Hey guys,

So I've been playing around with Lion a bit, trying to get everything working. There are 2 crucial things I need running: Wifi and Sound. In SL, I get wifi from an app called "Ralink Wireless Utility". It installed correctly in Lion, but when I hit "Connect", it doesn't do anything. Also, I'm currently using AppleAzaliaAudio.kext for audio on SL. There were a few apps i.e. TextEdit, Software Update, that don't start-up. For now I'll be using SL as a daily OS but I'd really like to start using Lion!

I'm glad we got all fixed, I'm not sure why text edit isn't working. :O

Well, it just kinda bounces in the Dock and doesn't load, same w/ Software Update...

btw here are the boot flags I use:

-legacy -v arch=i386 npci=0x3000 GraphicsEnabler=Yes UHCIReset=Yes ForceHPET=Yes

Sometimes it doesn't boot with the UHCI and HPET flags, but they were both in my original com.apple.Boot.plist, so I just include them. I'm currently booting Lion from a USB stick, how would I get it booting on its own via the HD? I certainly can't use the Chameleon on the SL partition because it gives me a kernel panic if I do. Here's what I tried to do:

$ diskutil list
$ sudo fdisk -e /dev/disk0
> f 3
> write
> exit
$ logout

That's supposed to make the Lion partition active but it still boots me to the SL partition anyway...

i have a problem with installing niresh lion v2

boot from dvd or pen drive dont work, still wait with intermittent cursor _ for hour
for this i'v tried with rboot cd in verbose mode and get error
Boot Args: boot-uuis=36ccd437-d875-3c97-abb7-b11ee7ea8bcd rd="uuis arch=i386
after this string reboot
i'm just tryed to type "kernel cache"=\arch=amd etc... and other option, but dont work

i believe to replace mach_kernel in the usb pen with any mach_kernel for amd posted in osx86 site, and try to boot, but... how to!??! now i have only win 7 64bit installed, and the pen drive result not accessible under windows.
Any ideas for this cataclysm!?!?!?
PS: 5 or 6 moth ago i have installed snow leopard in this pc, but with moooore problem and 1 moth of crazy work!

My configuration is:

Motherboard: Asus M4A785T-M
CPU: AMD Athlon 2 X4 635 Socket AM3
Video: integrated ati hd "and this recognize in first part of screen"
ram: 4gb

i replaced mach_kernel and now get error of acpi... unable to find driver for this platform...
how to?

i tryed to turn off in bios ACPI but dont work
hdd is set on AHCI

oIs there anybody who had luck with an AMD X6 CPU? I tried to install Lion in my PC:
AMD x6 1090t
Asus M4A87TD Evo
GeForce GTX 560
But it just reboot after the Message: Start Darwin x86
I did the following stepts:

1. Install iAtkos l2 osinstall.mpkg with defelaut settings (just without bootloader)
2. Install Chameleon RC5 Beta
3. Copy bronzovkas Kernel to root folder, 32bit Finder to s/l/cs and applenforceata Kext to Extensisions in Extra
4. Boot with -v -f -legacy arch=i386 npci=0x3000

Niresh doesn't work imo. I've heard nothing but unsuccessful, can't even boot into the installer.

RC5 is really old, try using Chameleon Wizard or 2.1 B1902.

for me work rboot cd with kernel V4, but when load get error acpi driver not found.
