Apple Tablet

If Apple releases a 9.6" multi-touch tablet computer with built-in 3G wireless connectivity in February 2010 at a price point between like $399 and $799, are you interested in buying one?

Not sure. Probably not. I prefer to carry my MacBook with me - but we'll see. If it will be worth it....=)

If its just for 3G/HSDPA there are quite a few alternatives already available.
Anyway I doubt they cant adapt OS X to be handled by touch easily, and an overpriced 9/10" 3g no voice touch tablet running iPhoneOS cant compete with neither a plain iphone nor a non touch windows netbook.

I'll have to reserve judgement until I can actually play with one, I can think of a few applications where such a device might be a good fit.

Right now my thinking is if it's over 600 i have no interest in it. Why get a tablet for 1000 when you can get a full macbook for the same (or less)? If it turns out they want that kind of money for it they'd better really deliver on the 27th.
