Why is Apple called Apple?
Here's a short story I'd like to tell you... Some of you may already know and others may not, but I hope you find this interesting...
About 50 years ago, a British man named Alan Turing worked for the British Army, in code cracking and intercepting codes sent by the "Enemies" back then... he was soon interesting in machinery and computing... To cut strait to the point, Alan invented the first type of computer in the 1940's, it was a revolution in those days, even though of course, it wasn't commercialised... A few years later, the Police had found out that he was "Gay", (he reported a robbery at his house, and the police had found out that the robber was his X-Boyfriend...) and in those days, he would either have to face Jail for life, or castration... He chose castration... In the late 1950's he decided he couldn't live like that anymore... so, he injected poison into an apple and took a bite out of it... He was found dead with a bite out of an apple... There is only one company that is a true tribute and remembrance to this man.... Apple Computer, Inc. I may be a little off about it, but that's how I remember it...
