that wasn't pointed at you it was just people need to really follow the guide or they can break their system because stuff has changed in 10.5.6 you just can't update you need things to update and some people don't know that yet

You dont have any problems with lag?
Because im thinking its the hdd kext because also with a EFI string im having the same problem. But only when heavy disk usage... And since we got the same pc... just two questions...
1)May i use pcwiz's Universal OSx86 Installer in order to install pcefi v9 and DSDT Patcher GUI to install dstd patch? that's enough to install upgrade? 2)what about kernel? is there a new one inside the 10.5.6? Zephyrot's ASU is it still working for kernel's upgrade blocking? Great, just in time for Christmas...
 ASU spit back at me while patching the 10.5.6 installer. Is such patching needed or can I go unpatched with this one? EDIT: I also can't get Rapidshare to work right so I can't download PC_EFI V9...heeeeelp! Pretty please? Is there a guide on installing Chameleon? How do I do this?

hmmm all seems good to me after I replaced the seatbelt.kext because it caused Kernel panics when I mounted any disk image. No window lagging on my Dell Inspiron 531.
