Seriously this is driving me insane
WHERE does Chameleon get its boot info from The ONLY way I can boot into 32 bit is to hit F8 and type arch=i386 Ive edited the com.apple.Boot.plist in the defaul area, ive added it to Extra/ directory (as thats where chameleon lookjs apparently) - it just ignores me! Ive put in x32, x32 -legacy, arch=i386, none of it works Please advise. Chameleon came with iAtkos S3v2 |

Googling IVe found there could be a bug??
"Nice work but there does appear to remain a bug that has cropped up since RC2. Specifically, the bootloader no longer finds /Extra/com.apple.Boot.plist on multi-boot systems using the windows bootloader with chain0. It last worked in v2RC1 but got buggered in RC2, RC3 and still in RC4. Everything else in the /Extra hierarchy is loaded fine – just not the c.a.B.p file. This is very inconvenient when needing 32 bit operation since these automatically boot 64 bit. I read that someone determined that the c.a.B.p file is only loaded if the booting partition is both primary AND active." ITs liek it doesnt see the bootloader file 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean. Free credits ($100) for InfMac readers. |
