On my sister's laptop, it boots fine , CI/QE at installer.
On my desktop , i only see an apple and on verbose it gets stuck on AppleDecrypt. On my laptop... Nothing. Gonna Try with K50IN bootcd Desktop: Mobo: G41/ICH7 | CPU: C2D E6320 | Mems: 2Gb DDR2 | Graphics: X1650 512MB | HD: 250GB SATA2 (Clean) + 320GB IDE (Win7 HP SP1) Laptop: K50IN / T5900 / 4GB DDR2 / 250 gb Sata / G102M 512mb / Atheros 9285 Wifi / RTL8139 / OSX 10.6.4 . EVERYTHING WORKS , only media keys not working. Playing: Counter-Strike Source , GTAIV , Resident Evil 5, Call Of Duty 4. XLIVE Gamertag: xuwannacookiex w/o Live Gold sub yet =(

also try and boot with cpus=1 or -x or -f

Helpp me..i cant hear any sound from my laptop...
Can someone help me to solve this problem....my sound is detected but i'm still not hearing any sound from my laptop..here i attach pictures of my problem....i;m still with 10.6.2...

Somewhere in the middle you will find information on how to enable sound. Anyway... I've noticed that you have installed OSx86 Tools... this project is discontinued from what I know and it doesn't work under Snow Leopard properly so better don't use it unless you want your system to be destroyed

does anyone uses yahoo messenger? when I turn my webcam on, it shows blackscreen. but before it worked properly. anyone?

Hmm... my Asus K50IN-SX152 should be here in a few days and before it comes, I'd like to ask about sth.
If I use this tutorial on installing SL, do I have to take care of DSDT? http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/ind...=#entry1405018 From what I see, my motherboard is exactly the same as in one of MacBooks Pro. Would any of you be so nice to create some kind of 'tutorial' - how to get through 10.6.3 update with no problems?

you dont need DSDT patch for K50, and as for the Atheros card, no, and i dont think it ever will work,
