Boot Problem after Upgrading to 10.5.8 iPC

Hi All, first time poster. I have had an issue with restarting since I upgraded using the non combo update to 10.5.8. 10.5.7 was fine however now on most occasions I get a Kernel Panic Error after the OS boots to a Desktop Screen.

I also notice Youtube videos running very slowly when in fullscreen mode.

Below is a description of my PC

Model Name: System Product Name
Model Identifier: System Product Name
Processor Name: AM2 6000
Processor Speed: 3.0 GHz
Number Of Processors: 2
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache (per core): 1 MB
Memory: 12 GB
Bus Speed: 800 MHz
Boot ROM Version: ASUS M3N-HT Deluxe ACPI BIOS Revision 1901

If you need more details let me know.

Is anyone else having the same problem?

How can I fix?

Regards cyclone76

RULE NUMBER 1 : never update your hackintosh
2. if you have to update back everything up
3 use the amd update util by Zef

Why? because updates brake hack installations by replacing kext files kernels and somtimes new incompatible software.

1 put your orginal kernel and system.kext back
2 download the universal installer and install the basic kext files
3 reinstal all your kextfiles that you nead for your hardware
4 look in your about your mac screen at your video card check If core image of quartz extreme still work if not you have to re install your video card

Asus P5W DH Deluxe runnig osx for 3 years now (10.5.4 ideneb)
