GMA 950 Snow Leopard Problems...
I have a GMA 950 graphics card and I have Snow Leopard installed, for some reason it won't recognize the card, it tells me it's a GMA 950 in the "About This Mac" but it will not load any kext I try for the GMA 950. What's going on here it worked fine in Leopard?

0x27A2 or 0x27AE GMA950?
Latest AnVal Loader can inject both via GraphicsEnabler=Yes, 0x27AE also requires to add Device ID to Info.plist of IntelGMA950.kext & AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext and to binpatch both kext files binary. Also be aware that not all Snow Leopard Kext Versions are capable for use with 64-Bit Kernel. @ Imkantus, I believe it is the 2772, by looking at his specs in the posters sig. @ 00010 http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/ind...owtopic=143340 and go down to "ECS_945GCT.zip ( 8.99K ) Number of downloads: 477"

Whoops sorry, I thaught of the "eMachine W3619" to be a mobile device, should have looked it up first... (Maybe cause friend of mine has an Acer notebook, thats also beeing called eMachine XYZ...)
Injection of Desktop GMA950 should work by that bootloader as well, so no need for DSDT patching if you don't want to... AMD Phenom II X4 955 - ASRock AM3A770DE - 8GB DDR3-1333 - Radeon HD 5570 1GB passiv - BCM4318 802.11b/g - Snow Leopard Retail

Alright I tried the DSDT.aml that scififan88 suggested, and when I boot it hangs when it recognizes the processor when I boot into verbose mode.

I just tried both of the generic patches on the same page and they both just cause the screen to be blank with just a grey or blue screen...

Are you using a CRT or LCD? To be able to use a CRT, I had to use a patched framebuffer, it works, but you get some artifacts. LCD works just fine with vanilla framebuffer, though.

Using a 32' LCD TV as a screen, but I have now tried applying the GMA 950 Desktop DSDT patch and the DTGP patch, and I get the same results as before with the dsdts in the previous post...
