Hardware possible for Hackintosh ?

Wondered if anyone can answer this. I have read the suggestions on hardware config but, does anyone know if they would all work well with Snow Leopard? If not what is the highest version known to work well?

Setup:

Motherboard: Asus M4A785TD-M EVO (µATX, Sound, HDMI, VGA, G-LAN, RAID) or
Mainboards Sockel AM3 GIGABYTE GA-MA785GMT-UD2H

Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 955 (Boxed, OPGA, "Deneb", Black Edition)

Video: Gainward GTS250 (Retail, HDMI, DVI)

Hard Drive:Western Digital WD6400AAKS 640 GB (Caviar Blue)

Memory: G.Skill DIMM 4 GB DDR3-1333 Kit (F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH, Ripjaws-Serie)

Power Supply:
Chieftec GPS-500AB (2x PCIe)

DVDRW Serial ATA:LG GH-22NS (Bulk)

thanks

AMD is always a challenge, if you really want OSX, you should try Intel, but it might be possible to get it working with AMD if you know how.

I saw someone had the GT250 working, but I can't seem to remember how.

OS: Snow Leopard Mac OS X 10.6.2 (10C540) | Vanilla Kernel | 64 bit Kernel | EFI64

CPU: Intel Core i7 920 @ 3.6 GHz
GPU: 2x SLI Dual GTX 260 (OpenCL working)(QE+CI)
RAM: 6GB DDR3 1600MHz 7-7-7-20

AUDIO: Realtek (5.1 config)
HDD: RAID 0- 1 + 1TB HDD's | 320GB HDD
MOBO: MSI X58 Platinum SLI (Intel ICH10)

CASE: Haf 932 Full Tower Case + Red Cathodes
MONITOR: Asus VK266H 26" 1920x1200 LCD

All working

A GT250 is a 9800GTX, its slightly upgraded and uses less power
but works just fine with EFI strings for a 9800GTX, and is even detected
and usable without EFI strings, using "PC EFI 10.5" and its GraphicsEnabler

As far as getting parts for a Hackintosh

(1) Stick with Intel and Nvidia

(2) Stick with dual DVI video card, name brand

(3) Get a name brand, well reviewed, power supply

(4) Get a motherboard know to work, that there is a guide
for, like the "GA-EP45-UD3P" and others, that will cut
out 90% of the problems

I wonder what microATX motherboard is good for installing (Snow) Leopard?
Because I already have an microATX Case.

Maybe a GA-G31M-ES2L?

just Google something like

+hackintosh +microatx +guide

or something like

+snow +leopard +microatx +guide

or look around in the various forums for an easy to use guide

You can read my specifications in my signature.
I suggest you to get a better graphic card and a dual-core INTEL processor.
You can go with the same motherboard, because the drivers are easy to find and almost always included in the distros.
