Like: 'to create an Linux / shell script based installer, allowing the user to restore the image & installing the bootloader to an selected harddrive'

That sounds very useful indeed, but I do not have the knowledge to do that so... If you can give me any tips, it would be nice...

The results of iPortable are quite positive so far... So any improvements to new coming PC installer would be appreciated!!
