Kernel panic when opening safari 4 dmg
i just installed ipc osx86 10.5.6 patched up to ppf2. everything is working. but when i tried to open the safari 4 dmg i downloaded i got a kernel panic. i managed to take a picture.

nvm, i fixed it by replacing the seatbelt kext.

Crashing upon disk image mounting is nearly ALWAYS the seatbelt kext not matching versions with the kernel. Tip for future inquiring minds.
