I am installing into a usb hdd ( it's an internal hdd and connected with ide to usb connecter ) , active , primart and formatted to one guid partition .
I don't know what is the proplem , so i took a screenshot from the installer log which describe the error it may help :

If you had read the README text that came with this app, you would find that is says that is normal in some cases it should boot just fine after manual restart.

1. There is no readme with the app , all info on the blog post of the programmer .
2. It didn't boot because not all files were copied , i got install failed on the half or @ almost 60% , Empire EFI cd also didn't show the partition on the list after restart .
Thanks for the contribution .

Sorry to hear that

My work is being ripped and its being put on torrent sites without the read me. Making it hard

Here are the tips

1. Its installed , OSX can't bless the drive. Its normal , its not a real mac

2. If empire EFI does not see the partition. It means your BIOS refuses to pass over the USB controller or some sort. Try to connect it to your motherboard. Make it internal , not USB , or any sort.

Thats all !

1. it's installed ! when i try again and open disk utility i see that the used space is only 5 GB , not all files were copied .

2. ok , i tried but it seems like my mobo doesn't have ide connecters for the hard disk ( they are all sata ) , i'll ask you a question : if i bought internal sata hard disk and connected it as slave ( my current hard disk is master ) will empire efi read it and install will succees ? please answer me ASAP /

Empire efi should install (no guarantee) and should see the partition as bootable, but not sure after the install is complete, you may have to somehow install chameleon onto you master hard drive to boot properly.

There's never a guarantee when you're making a hackintosh. Its something that can't be done considering we're using hacks to force install OSX on non-Apple hardware. Quite literally we're forcing a square peg through a round hole with a hammer.

But on a lighter note, try getting a PATA to SATA adapter if you don't want to spend the money on a SATA hard drive. They're fairly cheap.
