Thanx, I looked Pacifist up, If I had known what it was I would have used it, Thanx for letting me know now I can update to 10.6.1 and fix that pesky Repair Permissions error. Where it says no packages found or something to that extent...

Thanx.

Ya'll have helped me get a fully working install plan (Hopefully ) I have all my kext files I need The Install should go perfectly.

Maby you should make a guide on hope to udate dev. seeds with Pacifist.... or maybe I will.

(if mine is a dev. seed?)

Just wanted to ask if I use Pacifist to install the update will my system be able to use "Software Update" afterwards and would it be recognized as retail?
