Which IR receiver for the Apple Remote Control?

Hello everybody .
I'm new here and I have a question (and I couldn't find the answer using the search tool).
I have a working PC running OSX 10.5.6. A would use an Apple Remote Control with FrontRow. I saw that it use IR to communicate with the computer. So, here is my question:
Which IR receiver should I use for the Apple Remote Control? Does it must be USB?
