Finder customizations

Hey guys:

I've been two days trying to customize Column View of Finder, i wanna change background color, and nothing found....There's other thing in List View i would change those background color, but again nothing...already tried MacPilot, Onyx, and now just left me to dump Finder so i can found those lines there, and change it, so.
If anyone out there has a way of changing or cuzstomize those views....Could YOU post it here.?

I know it's possible since I've seen mods done (on youtube somewhere... I believe KOST was the one showing how...)
I would look there first...
