Run Mac on Linux on OS X for OS 9 Users with newer PPC macs?

I've been thinking and have been wanting to run Mac OS 9 on my iBook G4 (Mid 2005, 14" which I'm getting buried with, by the way :P) and I can't run Mac OS 9 because Apple blocked off the capability and only left Apple Hardware Test (heavily modded OS 9) and OS X as bootable.

It's 12:23 AM here in New York and I'm really tired, but I'm going to attempt this tomorrow so that I can get OS 9 running faster than SheepShaver on this laptop I have a blue and white G3, but you can't carry that around easily now can you?

If anybody would like to help just drop a line I guess, and if not I'll update this post in the course of the next few days.
