At home I'm running a MacBook Pro with Leopard and two G4 'Sawtooth' PowerMacs (both running Tiger). At work we have an assortment of G4 and G5 PowerMacs and iMacs of which I use a dual 2Ghz G5 PowerMac.

I've got a Mini G4 1.58 GHz, but it's defective now. I have no idea why, after I experimented with an PPC Linux it isn't starting anymore. Starting sound appears, Memory test works (loud beep after starting without RAM) but no picture. I tried nearly all methods to reset, aren't working. Nah, it's not so important. I also have an Apple Newton 120, does anyone know this thing?

Currently a 24" MacIntel iMac and a G5 Power Mac connected to a 20" Cinema display - (one of the transparent plastic 'tripod' models). Had an iBook G4 which has been handed down to offspring and since retired from lack of use.
Won't be buying a MacPro tower as they're just too high-end for my needs and wallet. The Hackintosh is fitting the bill rather well though. ![]() Will definitely build a Hackintosh netbook since Apple won't. Just waiting for the right hardware and the EEE1008H is looking mighty good at the moment. Andy. However up in the attic I still have an Apple LCIII (complete with Apple printer, uses Canon BC02 ink cartridges...) running Mac OS 7.5.3. I'm planning to get me a MBP though, as soon as I've earned enough money... 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean. Free credits ($100) for InfMac readers. |
