OSX Doesn't Want Me To Download Torrents!

I was using Win7 on Friday, and I downloaded iATKOS v7 (10.5.7). After failing to install it several times, I got it working perfectly!

VGA: GeForce 6600 256MB (EFI string via OSx86 Tools)
Wired Internet: Intel Gigabit
Sound: VoodooHDA
CPU: Pentium D 925 3.00GHz x2

But I can't get torrents to download at a reasonable speed. I set up port forwarding to my internal IP address properly (all of my torrent clients indicate that port forwarding was set up properly) and it was working great on Windows. In addition, OSX firewall is set to allow all connections (I'm using the router's firewall). Does anybody have any idea whatsoever as to what could cause this?

Thanks in advance to anyone who helps.

The torrent is at the proper speed today. Apparently the internet was having problems (I tried multiple torrents from different sites).
