VMware thinks I have a sound issue?

Every time my VM wants to play a sound this pops up:

If I click yes the sound plays. If I need to play sound again, the message appears again. It's extremely annoying. Anybody know how to get rid of it?

I use AzailiaAudio for ALC888 on 10.6.2 if that helps at all.

I had the same issue, but I was using a USB sound device. I just used the VoodooHDA.kext and it got rid of the error message (But I am still using the USB sound).
Seems it just wants the main sound card to exist before its happy. Also using the HDEF/DSDT / LegacyHDA.kext fixed also gets rid of the message.

Before I installed VMware I was using VoodooHDA, but the audio was very scratchy, so I replaced it. I'm using Azalia at the moment.
Unless there is some other variant of VoodooHDA I should be using.
