[cite] bajanboy:[/cite]Hi Voyn1x and Puttabong,

Thank you both for your help.

Well the CHUD issue is resolved but I am still getting the kernel panic, here are the last lines or output from booting with
-v

mDNSREsponder[35]: mDNSPlatformRawTime: this_mach_absolute_time 7ABDCxxxxxxx
xxxxxx-macpro31 kextd[10]: IOKitWaitQuite() timed out waiting to write kernel symbols
AppleNForceATA: found 0 units.
Not sure about this error other than it's to do with your hard disk driver.

Hopefully someone will be along soon who can help.

I have installed the 10.5.3 update and when I run Marvin's utility, I see that the 'translate' file has not been patched. Would it be safe to update it with the package that Marvin creates for it?

Voyn1x,

Thanks for all of your help, much appreciated, as I said this is on another drive so I'll re-install Leo4All again and experiment with it, will keep you posted.
