Thumbs up Help with installing Mac OS X Leopard (iPC)

Hello all, members of the InfiniteMac forum. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Sushruth, and I have almost no knowledge of Mac distros and terms. I might be getting on as a pain in your bum, but I seriously need help if I am to become a Leopard user. I think I am also violating the forum rules as to not ask a question that has been asked before, but I have been compelled to do so, as no tutorial I have seen seems to suit my PC requirements.

First things first. I have downloaded the iPC Universal PPF5 Final distro from btjunkie.com. To be precise, this is my third time attempting to install Mac. It somewhat seems to fail every time.

Listed are my computer's information:
Quote:
Acer Aspire M3610-AB70 PC (not laptop or Acer Aspire One)
Intel Premium D 925
1 GB DDRII
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium
896 MB RAM
56K Modem
DVD RW Dual, Double Layer
SSE(1/2/3) Capable
Video Driver: ATI Radeon Xpress 1250 (RS600)
Some of this information is probably useless, but now I can continue with my questions.

Firstly, what are the options I must check for my computer in the Customize panel when installing Mac OS X Leopard? (image file for panel here)

Second, how can I get it to boot and install from my 8 GB USB (SanDisk Cruzer Micro)? How should I burn the ISO file? You see, I have only one DVD+R left and don't wan't to waste it. I also have a DVD-RW, but the computer seems to be incapable of booting from it. After two to three attempts, it goes back to boot Windows (installed on my hard drive).

Lastly, how much assured can I be that this will not mess up my computer, nor my Windows installation? How much surety can I have in terms of this distro getting to work on my PC?

Thanks for all effort done to answer this post.

Please answer!

According to the forum rules, I shouldn't be expecting a reply too early, but is someone even working on helping me with this problem?

First of all is your computer capable of booting from usb ? Second, do you have the iso image or the dmg? Third, do you have access to a working Mac box? and lastly, do you have a lot of patients. If you can answer yes to at least two of my questions I might be able to help you out.

RE: ...(iPC)

Two answers are all that I can give. First, my computer can boot from USB drives. Second, I also have the ISO you need.

Sorry, no access to any Mac box. No Mac-running system either.

Lastly, you asked for patience, didn't you? I am actually starting to run low on it because I have experimented on it (iPC) for long (at least a year).
