how to enable QE and Cl??
I installed ipc OSX 86 10.5.6. I have evga geforce 7800gt 258mb. Currently QE and CL are not supported. I am very new at this.
Can someone write a tutorial on what I am supposed to do....please. I need detail instruction because I am new to MACS and all of this. Help would be much appreciated and I thank anyone that gives some sort of help. |

Download PCWiz's Universal Installer app. Select your boot disk. Go down and select your card to install gfx string. Restart. Viola. If you had a graphics kext installed like NVKush or NVInject or whatever, delete it before restarting. It'll be in your extensions folder. The extensions folder is in YourHD>system>library.

If your not trting to run dual cards, follow the above, but in case you want to run dual cards, go to

To intel mac pro:
I have already tried your method and it didn't work. I have tried the kexts that come with iPC 10.5.6 and that didn't work. Is there another method that I can use to enable QE and CI. I know that it can work with the 7800gt but I don't know. Anyone have any links or ideas? |

There is no other method, enabling QE/CI means making Leopard use your graphics card as hardware accelerated and for that you have to make it look as it were a real Mac card, either by:
- Installing a graphics injector kext like nvkush, nvinject, corevidia, etc. - EFI String / DSDT mod. Try different injectors, one at a time, make sure they are properly installed. Do not use EFI strings and injectors at the same time. Some cards are special, and need a custom NVCAP string. Also I think exchanging the DVI or VGA plugs positions could make a difference in some non standard cards. 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean.
