Ok so last night I finally installed my copy of Photoshop, I was enjoying it and playing around. But then my dog came in and ripped(literally) out my power cord... Im upset because everytime after VoodooHDA loads, it kernel panics and wont go any further. Ive tryed to boot atleast 4 times... help please??? its baffling me because it had a power short... not a mesed up kernel... its a AnV Voodoo 9.6.0 on 10.5.8 with correct seatbelt. I can't even boot safe mode.. and mac drive(nothing new) is saying it cannot be read and is curropted... please help me...

Maybe it'll help to boot the install DVD, launch Disk Utility & Repair the file permissions of your Partition?

Did you removed AppleHDA.kext before you applied VoodooHDA.kext ?
Edit: And I am quite sure that there are also other ways to your get sound working. AMD Phenom II X4 955 - ASRock AM3A770DE - 8GB DDR3-1333 - Radeon HD 5570 1GB passiv - BCM4318 802.11b/g - Snow Leopard Retail

Try using Voodoo kernel or other compilation apart from AnV's.
