Thx for the patch.
Question, did you update your kernel to 9.2.2 and if so using which method? And are you using Zephs or Leo's install? I always use pacifist, download the updates from apple website and extract it to the desktop with pacifist, run marvin and i edit the cpuid.txt file with the correct path, then i install the updates and run the marvinīs patch.
before edit the path after edit the path I update the kernel via terminal, first i rename the new kernel to mach_new and i copy to the root, repair the permissions, reboot and at boot type mach_new, if all is fine delete the older and rename the new to mach_kernel, thatīs all. |

Thx a lot for the info bro. I never did the tryout trick first. So in case of a kernel panic you just reboot and the old kernel is being used again right?
I'm going to try this right now since I won't do any harm now. Did you use the new system.kext too? Update: it worked of course. After all this time I feel like a bloody noob again, hmm. Saf crashed at first but after that it was ok, probably due to non updated system.kext. So now you just rename the kernel without setting permissions or anything? update: kernel is good to go but haven't update the system.kext Any idea how I can try the system kext too without messing up my system? I downloaded the three updates manually from Apple's website, installed, and everything works fine now, I would say smooth as a matter-of-fact. - Cheers!
