if the problems is video kexts (aka drivers) u could try bootting "-s" into single user and then remove any problematic kexts (the ones that fix your graphics card), so try boot then with the default video and fix the graphics ketxs.....

thanks for the replys eMatos and erick2red.
First of all this is the line that i get stucked "using 10485 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers" Yesterday i tried to do the same update on a new system. I installed ideneb 10.5.5 with different driver settings ; ICHx Fixed JMicronATA (this is something new for me) 9.2.0 SpeedStep (this is too, i usually used vanila) ACPI-Fix Cpus=1-Fix and nvinject for the video. and my system works like a charm. But after i did the update (as i learned from this topic) i saw the same line again. i also tried to boot with -s, -v , -x, -F. nothing happens. Today i will try to install directly ideneb 1.4 (i get stucked in the same line as i tried before). I wont chose voodoo kernel and i will add ACPI - FIX manually (as i read from this topic). i will tell you the results. 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean.
