I am currently using VodooHDA 64 Bit
Line-Out, Line-In, Mic & Front Panel Mic work. (That's all I've tested / I do need to work) only problem is the SystemProfiler-crash I've descrypted in the topic I've recently started. I also tried this Guide: http://www.infinitemac.com/f57/guide...a-to-sl-t3981/ But I had no success with it as trying to add an "Device (HDEF)" to my dsdt.dsl caused a compling error. AMD Phenom II X4 955 - ASRock AM3A770DE - 8GB DDR3-1333 - Radeon HD 5570 1GB passiv - BCM4318 802.11b/g - Snow Leopard Retail
+++ AMD Phenom X3 8450 - ASRock AM2NF6G-VSTA (BIOS L2.39) - 4GB DDR2-800 - Radeon HD 4650 512MB - Snow Leopard Retail (retired) / OpenBSD |

On Leo, VoodooHDA would get all staticy and junk after sleep/wake, does this still happen with the x64 version in SL? I'd try it myself but i have way too much stuff open to reboot now.
Also, does this load from an EFI partition yet? I dont really mind installing it in S/L/E, but if i can use it in my efi partition i might as well, right? Edit: Doesnt load from efi partition, but loads from S/L/E. It still gets fuzzy after waking from sleep though. Anthing else work for alc888 in SL? 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean. Free credits ($100) for InfMac readers. Last edited by nosmokingbandit; 09-21-2009 at 10:57 PM. |
