Chameleon on AMD laptop, powers down??

So I want to install Snow or Leopard on my AMD Laptop (HP DV6000) But there is one issue currently in my way.

I set the USB stick or HDD (with snow) to first in the bios, but after it gets past BIOS, it powers off, and reboots. I tried Chameleon RC1, RC3, PCEFI 10.3, and all power it down.

Windows 7 boots fine though. Anyway to solve this issue?

OS: Snow Leopard Mac OS X 10.6.2 (10C540) | Vanilla Kernel | 64 bit Kernel | EFI64

CPU: Intel Core i7 920 @ 3.6 GHz
GPU: 2x SLI Dual GTX 260 (OpenCL working)(QE+CI)
RAM: 6GB DDR3 1600MHz 7-7-7-20

AUDIO: Realtek (5.1 config)
HDD: RAID 0- 1 + 1TB HDD's | 320GB HDD
MOBO: MSI X58 Platinum SLI (Intel ICH10)

CASE: Haf 932 Full Tower Case + Red Cathodes
MONITOR: Asus VK266H 26" 1920x1200 LCD

All working

Yes, but the problem is chameleon does not even show up, it just powers off before the GUI on chameleon even appears.

how much RAM do you have in the laptop? If it's more than 4 gigs, type maxmem=4096 at the darwin prompt and see if it works. I had a similar problem with my AMD desktop machine.

Hackintosh 1: OS X 10.6.8 / Antec P180B / Gigabyte GA-MA790FX-DS5 / Phenom II x2 550 @ 3.4 GHz / 2x1GB Corsair Dominator DDR2 1066 MHz / Gigabyte Radeon 4550 512MB / ASUS EAH4870X2 2GB@ 800/950 / 2x150GB Velociraptors RAID 0
Hackintosh 2: OS X 10.6.8 / Full-ATX Mac Pro case / Gigabyte GA-MA790FX-UD5P / Phenom x4 9950 @3.2GHz / 4x2GB Corsair Dominator DDR2 1066 MHz / HIS Radeon HD 6950 u/l to 6970 / 2x300GB Velociraptors RAID 0 / 4x2TB WD20EARS Pictures

Try plugging in a keyboard and mouse and see if that makes any difference

I will try that later, but if I get it to work, how would I use the laptop on the go if i have to use a keyboard plugged in?
