D630 issues

Hey guys, so this is my first time trying to install SL ona laptop and been running into issues. First off, I have maybe 15 cd left so I can burn any bootloader. So when I try the latest iboot legacy, I can get past the install boot but my odd screen goes black. Computer doesn't turn off but just no images on the screen. I have read a tut on here saying to have an external display and when iboot load, put the display on the external screen and when it boots return to your internal display. However when I do this, there comes weird colorful vertical lines. I know it is possible since one of my friends did it but can't find the tut.
My specs:
Cpu: intel core 2 duo 1.8ghz
Video: mobile intel 965
hdd: 80 WD

Please reply!! Thanks

Go there: http://forum.osxlatitude.com/
You will find anything you need to convert your D630 into a nice hackintosh. At least 10.6.8 should be working nicely. Lion is in the works.

Hoep this helps.

It does work but now i'm having an issue with the cpu when trying to boot up the first time. I used ModCD and I manage to install but can't boot
