nForce 430 Help
My motherboard is a MCP61PM-GM ( No idea who makes this)
It has a AMD Athlon 2 x 2 processor. It has a nForce 430 chipset. So basically I have tried the Empire EFI method, and it tries to boot, and it either freezes a little ways after detecting the chipset, I have also tried to boot from a USB DVD-ROM and get the " Waiting for root device" error. I know the video on this board isn't compatible, I am gonna buy a PCI-E card to fix this problem. Also I am looking for a card thats PCI-E that is fully working on Snow Leopard in the 1GB RAM + range any suggestions would be great. 00010 RETIRED |

Of course a GeForce 9 (or one of it's silly rebrands ) is easier to set up, as they tend to work just using GraphicsEnabler... 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean.
