P5K-E with 10.6.2 = Not very stable

I was running OSX 10.6.1 on my P5K-E/WiFi perfectly fine. Then, I followed netkas guide and did a live update to 10.6.2. Everything seems to work fine. After a while, I discovered there is a small issue. One out of several startups, the system loses my SATA DVD drive. I checked the system profiler for SATA devices and it says error in obtaining info. This only happens in 32bit mode. It works fine when I boot to 64bit. Does anyone encounter similar issues?
