Random Still Waiting for root device error

Hey everyone, well I recently bought a GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3 with an AMD SB950 (rebranded SB850), and it read about all the bugs that the SB850 has with Samsung F3's. I have the firmware(1AJ10001) on my Samsung F3 1TB that isn't supposed to have bugs, yet with OSX it hangs at "Still Waiting for root device" at 1 out of 2 boots. Its not like the HDD isn't detected, it always is, but it just won't boot OS X. When it does boot it works great so I'm at a lost. The kext I use is the ahci port injector in /Extra/Extensions and my bios mode is set to AHCI. I tried it with IDE mode the issue seemed to have gone away, but I would rather use AHCI for hot plugging HDD's. So does anyone have any ideas on what this could be, thanks.
