Well fail, it got all the way to select your language, I chose English, and then it loads and says the disk could not be read or something. Please clean it off and try again. I cant clean a flash drive.. Please help!!!!

Ok well i was in a rush to try something my friend suggested...

heres a run down..
I can boot.
I cant continue the Install.
I can do everything else.

and something I noticed, None of my drives are showing up in System Profiler or Disk Utility... What going on?? It says No SATA Devices are detected... and ive never had to switch from IDE to ACHI or anything like that before... its always been straight forward and easy to boot.

Ok are you booting off usb or a dvd with boot 1-2-3? u need to replace the original ioatafamily.kext in /volumes/(name of installer)/System/Library/Extensions/ with the one i attached and your sata should now be seen.

ok you need to repair perms by going to /Volumes/(installer)/System/Library
then do sudo -s type your pass, then chown -R root:wheel Extensions/* and chmod -R 755 Extensions/* and boot the installer with -v -f, is it working?
