Could you please indicate how to get QE/CI?
Kext used? Particular procedures? Adding devID in some plist...
I'm now using NVenabler64.kext...

I'm dual booting, good chameleon, some sleep issues but the worst is no QE/CI so I would like to solve that first.

Thank you!

cheers

Thanks flip.

ASUS N50VC FP008C - Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz - 15.4 " - 4 GB Ram - 320 GB HDD

Ah ha -

This may be better - Will have to check out the spec in more details....

ASUS N50VC FP008C - Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz - 15.4 " - 4 GB Ram - 320 GB HDD

Anyone got any ideas?

Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 / 2.4 GHz
Mobile Intel PM45 Express
NVIDIA GeForce 9300M G

Also has:
Bluetooth 2.1 EDR
IEEE 1394
And a few other things which the SV025C did not.

Anyone got this machine? Works? It's only £40 more. Seems worth the investment!!

EDIT: Found out that the CPU is the same as Macbook 13" - but not sure about the GPU & Chipset.

ellnic.

You can boot your system with boot CD...
Have you added an extra folder with your kexts after installing the chameleon?

You can try ASUS-K50IN-BootCD v1.1 with this device. There is a big chance that it will be work fine.

Hi Buhgalter. Yes, I'm still using the bootcd that you made. After I intalled chameleon, restarted the notebook, placed all kext on the extra folder and on the s/l/e folder and used kext utility for permissions, still no go..where should I place the com.apple.boot.plist?

I'll try it again this time..

Hi guys,
everything ok except for QE/CI using flip360 EXTRA.

Is there any particuar procedure? Now i'm using NVnject and NVenabler64, buto still no luck... Do I have to remove GraphicsEnabler from boot.plist? Or something else?

It seem that everyone is getting it working with NVEnabler64... i feel myself stupid!! :)

Put the com.apple.boot.plist into your Extra ;) After reboot try to boot with -f

About QE/CI OSX 10.6 is not showing those in system profiler anymore, you will have to check with http://www.realtech-vr.com/glview/ ;)

Hi there,
First of all i'd like to thank you all!

I own an Asus K50IN-SX147C

i've installed Snow Leopard with the BootCD1.1 and its working fine so far.
When I boot from the CD its ok, but when I want to boot without the CD
(first i've installed the package from this link http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/ind...owtopic=201850)
, I always get a Screen that wants me to press the Power Button...
I booted in verbose mode too, but I don't know what I should do with the information ^^
( I've never done anything with or on a mac before, so don't be too hard to me...)

greets
