Well it's sure been awhile...
It's been like almost a year since I've been somewhat active.
Well I'm looking for a challenge and I'm thinking a retail Snow Leopard install is what I need. If I go and buy 1GB of SDRAM(Which is what kept me from installing perfectly last year...) What version of Snow Leopard should I use?(Like a retail 10.6.0 or 10.6.4 or what, Like I said.. It's been A LONG TIME haha) Then I want to burn the ISO to my 8GB flash drive, install a bootloader, get the correct kexts for my hardware and install... Right? Also wheres a good website for getting Snow Leopard ready kexts? |
Welcome back, retail is usually best with a Chameleon boot CD or iBoot.
You'll need to add some kexts and a kernel to support your hardware, however you could go for some distros :P Also, http://kexts.com/ |
There are 10.6.0 and 10.6.3 Retail DVD avaible. ;)
I would also recommend you to make a Back-Up of the AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext you have been using on Leopard... |
