How?Since one cannot boot with the installer. Any steps?

Do I use my 10.7.0 install media or do I download it elsewhere?

I've heard that you can install on another partition from using the Lion Install WITHIN Snow Leopard, so you don't need to boot the Installer. Also look at this: http://tonymacx86.blogspot.co.uk/201...-107-lion.html

Yeah, I know XMove, but it fails.

I would love to know how do I install Lion within Snow Leopard, as the OSInstall.mpkg method doesn't work. It says there is no software found to be installed.

I'll try using CCC to clone the Snow Leopard installation to a GUID partitioned drive. Maybe XMove works then.

(Also, 1024x768 is starting to hurt my eyes, 3 weeks with no QE/CI is fun :P)

:/

Have you treid forcing your resolution?

Graphics Mode=1280x1024x32

Replace the bolded with your native resolution. It won't fix QE/CI but will have native resolution.

Yeah, I did, it reverts to 1024x768 :)

Anyways, back on topic, xmove worked on my GUID formatted partition, but the installer doesn't really want to start. all I have is a console, where I can write stuff but it doesn't load anything. And with -legacy I get a kernel panic.

Will try with 10.7.3 iso if it has some more use.
