I did clean install of iATKOS without customize and then used chimera bootloader to load it in, but get FAKESMC. share you boot flags too? Charmeleon refuses to boot when I put it on USB, don't know why.

But now I just bought path finder and done something and made it get stuck on DSMOS has arrived

You used multibeast to install Chimera or Charmeleon? which version link? Did you select anything during the customize of L2.

Yes in L2 I chose

-Chameleon 2.1

-Graphics Enabler

-Built-in Ethernet

-32-bit

-FakeSMC (get the v4)

-Disabler

-Ev0reBoot

-IOPCIFamily

-AHCI SATA

-USB

-PS/2

from my other mac lion, I installed 10.7.3 and installed EliottForceLegacyRTC, IOUSBFamily Rollback, and PS/2... using multi beast

edited my kernel flags (above post)

and after that I deleted AppleIntelCPUManager.kext (also the client) and AppleTyMCEDriver.kext.

booted -s (booted like this since I got stuck and mouse and keyboard won't function)

mount -uw /

touch /var/db/.AppleSetupDone

reboot

(came to the login, but I didn't login since I don't know user and pass)

booted into -s (again)

rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone

reboot

and this is how I got it to work, also I had another mac to help me install some other things

Any news? :( New kernel would be nice; xpchelper still crashes and is trashing my hdds with this speed.

Actually it seems to be ReportCrash which nukes the CPU usage up, but all crash reports are related to xpchelper

Attached a lot of crash dumps.

Edit2: Removed the executable flag from ReportCrash, let's see what happens :)

Edit3: Yup, it works, but still apps stop opening after a while and It's annoying ;)

Confirming that the FINDER can be replaced with the older one built for the LION DP2 (32-bits)

can u plz upload the 32 bit finder so we can use it?!i've searched but i did not find anything!!and how to replace with the old one!!
