OS X Mountain Lion released
Just purchased Mountain Lion from the AppStore...

waiting for your kernel... :D

We will see what can be done, once the source code is released...
Comparing the Kernel with the Lion one in ida looks like Apple has made quite a lot of changes to the gear unit. Most likely AMD ain't impossible - but it may require some serious rewrite of a patch. People have been booting the x86_64 Kernel in Snow Leopard, but I haven't ever seen it up and running. Furthermore the current Lion patch contains a lot of obsolete code changes that last from Voodoo XNU and even earlier - it would deserve some update anyway... But I don't think I'd be able to do such a job. I am running Mountain Lion on MBP and Xeon Workstation - very satisfied so far... :) |
When did you make kernel for 10.8? I'm very exciting. But Apple haven't opened latest xnu source.
And the price became cheaper.... |
Bought Mountain Lion too, haven't had time to install it yet though :/

It's difficult,not impossible. |
Heh, setting up a Snow Leopard VM so I can set up the USB stick needed for Mountain Lion setup. We'll see how it goes. :)

I've got a question:
Is there any way to get the updated video card drivers from 10.8 (i.e. 77xx series) working in 10.7? May be a misunderstanding of the drivers. |
