Slow boot & random KP/reboot/freeze on amd system

hi, i've recently installed retail snow leo 10.6.3 and combo update on my system.

this is my system cnfig:

gigabyte GA-MA790GP-UD4H (AM2/ddr2 - AMD 790GX + SB750 Chipset)
amd x3@x4(fourth core unlocked via bios) overclocked at 3.6ghz
4*2gb ddr2 1066mhz
ati hd4850 1gb(2 dvi+ s-video)
hdd and dvdrw sata

this is what i've done for now:
booted pc with OSX86 ModCD 0.3.1, and then swap with SL 10.6.3 dvd and install it.
rebooted again with ModCD,run SL from hdd and then installed combo update 10.6.5 from pkg
again rebooted with ModCD, run SL from hdd and installed Chameleon 2 RC5 from pkg
rebooted from hdd and installed legacy kernel 10.6.5 from pkg found on nawcom's blog

i've noticed slow boot process(1,30 min from chameleon hdd selection) and random kernel panic(i can't read the reason of kernel panic cause the system will immediately reboot!), and some random freeze/crash!

i attach my last boot log taken from kernel.log, can someone give me some suggestion?
tnx in advice! :D

First of all, try disabling your OC. I had freezes too.

If you are using nForceATA then the boot is slow, unless you use another kext to speed it up (this file)

i've solved for random reboot and kp, but i still have slow boot process!
now i use an ssd for osx system, but the boot process is still too slow.

the chipset isn't a nforce chipset, but a SB750, i need to use tyour kext?

thanks in advice

What mode is your sata set to? If its ide it uses a kext based on applenforceata.kext to detect your hdd, which means you need a patched ioatafamily.kext to speed up boot times. So I'd recommend setting your sata mode to AHCI in the bios, then you don't even need the patched ioatafamily. Download the attachment and place into /Extra/Extensions or /Extra/KextStore rebuild kext caches with kext utility or kext wizard, reboot and don't forget to set sata mode to AHCI (if needed)

hi, my sata ports are set in ahci mode,i'll give a try with your kext when i come back home!thanks!

by the way, the sistem slow down after this line of loading:

Jul 14 07:13:50 Mac-di-Gersio kernel[0]: ** Device in slot: SLOT-1 **

edit: i've tried your kext in /extra/extension, but the problem is still here.after ** Device in slot: SLOT-1 ** message it will still take 40 sec approx to show login window!the first step of boot( before ** Device in slot: SLOT-1 ** message) is fast.
i attach the last boot log!
