Post-Installation Network (After Vanilla Install) :S
 

Hello, I followed this guide http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic....232859#p232859 and installed lion. I then got the appropriate sound drivers to work through Multibeast. However, my Ethernet driver is the Realtek RTL8111D and when I use lyx2mac's ReaktekRTL81xx.kext it does not work. Also, when I try to access network under system preferences, the beach ball just spins (freezing the system preferences window). As a result the only option I then have is to force quit. Is this normal? Also under system information it says that my Ethernet card is unrecognized.

I have a Evga x58 sli le, or a 141-BL-E757-TR X58

are u using a dsdt for your motherboard?
i have a x58(asus)board and lyx2mac's installer worked for me...
