I know about 32-bit kernel + 64-bit userland mode. What I'm wondering is...if Finder is a 64-bit only app, 32-bit processors won't be able to run it. So what's the point of making a 32-bit kernel?

You need to provide more information about your PC components (network card, sound card, etc.). But so far, the outlook is looking good.

Nah, the code for VoodooTSCSync is generic, meaning it'll work on any multi-core CPU. Also, the "Unsynchronized TSC" message will still pop up but you should also see "VoodooTSCSyn::doTsc():...

Sounds like a TSC synchronization problem. To be sure, boot up with both cores, open Terminal.app, and then type cat /var/log/kernel.log

If you see something like MAC Framework successfully...
