Building First PC/Hackintosh

This is my first attempt at making any PC from scratch and I'll be using it to:

- Edit 720p footage captured from my 360
- Lightning/animating/capturing scenes in Source Filmmaker
- Maybe play FFXIV on medium settings down the line http://www.finalfantasyxiv.com/media/recom/na/pc.html

Software:

- Final Cut Pro X
- After Effects
- Source Filmmaker

The build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/cOQ9

First off, is it compatible with OS X? The CPU might not work with the motherboard, so an alternative is the i5 2500K, which does work.

The build looks really nice, although one thing i'd change is the GPU. Would recommend going for Radeon HD 6800 series, they're just a little bit more expensive ( 10-20$ more ) but offer far better results. Also Kingston HyperX memory performs better, so unless you're Corsair fan ( i am, best cases available ) would recommend going with kingston.

Just my opinion thuogh, the build is already great
