Thanks!!

This worked great, but for my setup the key was either passing arch=i386 at boot for chameleon or -x32 if you use EFI. Hope this helps someone else.

Hi,

I have searched the web high and low for kext's for the Realtek RTL8188CE, I posted on InsanelyMac but as its dead I got no reply. So I hope you will be able to answer my question is there even a kext for the 8188CE?

Thanks / Ryan

Rtl8188ce

Hi,

Its an internal laptop Wifi card, its PCI-E NIC. The exact model number as of Windows 7 System Information is:
Realtek RTL8188CE Wireless LAN 802.11n
The bus number reads as:
00000007
Hope this helps, if there is no solution I'm prepared to just swap the card with a compatible one.

Here is a product description.

Thanks / Ryan

This kext I have here is for USB seires of cards, I think it would be best to swap it out for a supported card, if you want to check as a last resort go to www.kexts.com
