Well, it all looks pretty good. The only thing I can see that might be a prob is GPU. I have a ATI radeon 2400 pro that is not supported at all by snow leopard. Ran great under Leopard though. Stay as vanilla as possible if you can. I also have AMD and had great luck with iatkos v7 10.5.6. Now I am on Snow leopard (hazard) and it's way way better imo. Had to ditch my ATI though and get a nvidia 4800gs.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I have a few questions for you,
1. what amd cpu do you have and
2. which kernel and kexts did you select in the installation of hazard
Thanks a lot

I have the Athlon 64 x2 4800 on an mcp61 mobo with nforce430 chipset. Here is what I chose on install:

Leopard 10.6.2
Legacy
Azalia (I know this works for me because it was same on my 10.5 install)
AppleRTC
AMD
Quicktime 7

I chose the least amount of stuff to make sure I got it installed and them went back and found kexts for my video, audio, drives and so on. As long as you get it installed without problems, you can always go back and fix up the other stuff. Good luck!

I've same mobo and CPU as you Dan, + GTX460.

Have you successfully installed SL on your system?

I've read it's important to disable C1 and C'n'Q in BIOS + enable AHCI for SATA.

Just downloading Hazard's 10.6.2 for AMD/Intel to try.

I have M4A89GTD mobo, but a HD 6950 video card, which is not supported yet. I have everything functional from my mobo. from the moment I can enable my video card I will post on the important forums a guide. for sure use the snowleo distro (not the hazard one). you get directly 6 cores enabled. the hazard one didn't worked for me... good luck
